A bit about me
Hi, I'm Laura 👋
a UX/UI Designer with a passion for user friendly and satisfying design, currently working on digital solutions @E.ON.
I’m 27 years old and based in Germany. In my free time I like to spend time with my loved ones, paint with acrylics or try out new recipes.
What also makes me happy is to travel. Discovering something new - cultures, places, people, landscapes, animals and of course delicious food :) - has always been exciting to me.
How I work
I like ideating and developing solutions, but I think it’s nothing you achieve while sitting alone at the desk. Communication with the team, stakeholders and users, diving into a topic and Iteration is the key during the design process. I enjoy ideating solutions together with others, using UX methods on my own or in the team, squish out meaningful insights using research and create usable and aesthetic solutions.
About UI Design, I like working on detailed and polished UI.
However, accessibility is just as important as nice design to me.
In the past I had the chance to work in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams which was exciting, let me grow personally and strengthened my confidence and skills as a UX and UI Designer.
Tools I use
My favourite tool for design work at the moment is Figma. I also used to work with Adobe CC and Sketch, but as UX tools are constantly evolving I'm always excited to learn about new tools.
